Peter Harris

Peter Harris (57) is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Gravitas. Peter is a highly experienced communications practitioner with more than 35 years’ experience in corporate affairs, government relations and public affairs.

He is an award-winning journalist, senior government media adviser, highly credentialed public relations strategist and successful business owner. Peter was the Managing Director of Peter Harris & Associates from January 2017 until co-founding Gravitas in September 2025.

Prior to 2017, he was the Managing Director and joint owner of PPR WA Pty Ltd, and later Executive Director of PPR Australia. He grew PPR’s WA business to be the Number 1 agency in Western Australia from 2000 to 2016.

He has vast experience in Federal, State and Local Government lobbying, as well as being a highly regarded practitioner in dealing with issues management and media relations.

He is a member of the Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA), a Board Member of Crime Stoppers Australia WA (CSWA), the former WA Chair of the Registered Consultancies Group of the CPRA and the former Chairman of The 500 Club Inc.

Isaac Stewart

Isaac Stewart (42) is Co-Founder and Partner of Gravitas. Isaac is a seasoned public affairs strategist with more than 20 years of experience across Australia and Singapore.

Prior to co-founding Gravitas in September 2025, Isaac worked at Purple (formerly Cannings Purple) from 2021 to 2025, holding multiple roles including Director, Associate Director and Practice Lead.

Prior to 2021, Isaac served as a political advisor to the Commonwealth Government, including to the Minister for Environment & Heritage (2005-2007), and more recently, the Chief Government Whip (2019-2021).

From 2010 to 2019, Isaac held positions as District Manager and Regional Manager at WA Football. Before that, Isaac worked as a senior journalist with Asian Banking & Finance, Asian Power, Investment Asia and Singapore Business Review (2007-2009)

Isaac holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Media from Notre Dame University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Deakin University and a Certificate in Mergers & Acquisitions from INSEAD.
